CoverGirl Lashblast Volume Mascara

I was recently given the opportunity to product test Lashblast Volume Mascara by CoverGirl. I #GotItFree from @BzzAgent in exchange for my honest opinion.

As you can see in the image above CoverGirl has four different LashBlast varieties. Green=Clump Crusher by LashBlast, Purple= LashBlast Fusion, Pink= Full Lash Bloom by LashBlast and Orange= LashBlast Volume.

I have tried the Clump Crusher in the past and have been very please. This time around I am trying LashBlast Volume.(The Orange One)in very black.

The package claims up to 10X the volume. So it was time to find out. Does it really work? The answer is a resounding YES!  CoverGirl LashBlast Volume delivers long, thick and plump lashes with very little effort.

In the past I have had to use two different mascara brands to obtain my desired look.  One for length and a completely separate mascara to build up the volume. Not any more, thanks to LashBlast Volume. I can now have long lashes that are thick and bold without looking clumpy or caked on.  This mascara goes on smooth but with additional applications you can really "pump up the volume".  I love that with multiple strokes this mascara does not get chunky or flaky.

When I was younger just about any mascara would do. If it was on sale, I was buying it. I have learned over the years that not all mascara is equal and they have changed so much in recent years.  As you can see in the above photo I am a little older than the average bear (47) A good mascara is a must for my thinning eyelashes.  The longer and fuller the better.

They say the eyes are the window to the soul and I want mine to be screaming with life.

I would definitely recommend LashBlash Volume by CoverGirl to anyone looking for a great impact mascara. CoverGirl certainly has #ABlastForEveryLash.

Why not try out a LashBlast mascara for yourself and discover how great your lashes can look.

Clairol Nice 'n Easy Root Touch Up Review

I was recently given the opportunity to product test Clairol Nice 'n Easy Root Touch-Up hair color.  It was offered to me from BzzAgent and I #GotItFree in exchange for giving them my honest opinion on this product. How well did it work and did it live up to it's promises. A few weeks ago I received my box of Nice 'n Easy root touch-up in shade #9 Light Blonde.  I was a little concerned choosing a color through an e-mail and not actually viewing a sample color first. Some hair colors can have too much ash in them and tend to make my hair look brassy and dull.

The preparation was easy. Just mix the two bottles of liquid in the small plastic dish provided and mix them around using the enclosed brush until well blended. Put on the plastic gloves and separate your hair into about 4 or 5 different parted sections. Then just apply the color to your exposed root areas with the brush.  Make sure to cover all your roots. Leave on for 10 minutes or a little longer for stubborn grey hairs. (which I know have-getting older sucks)

After waiting the allotted time, just simply hope in the shower and rinse it out. Apply the conditioners and you are good to go. Style as usual.

I was extremely happy with the results. My hair was soft, shiny and the color matched perfectly.

BEFORE

It has now been two weeks since using Clairol Nice n' Easy Root Touch Up and my hair still looks great.  This product was easy to use. Very quick with great coverage. I will be buying this product in the future to extend my color. It is very reasonably priced at about $8.00 per box. (half the price of my normal at home hair color).
Thank you @BzzAgent and @ClairolColor for introducing me to a wonderful product that actually works as promised. I will continue to share this discovery by paying it forward with the $2.00 off coupon to family and friends. Hopefully they will enjoy this product too.

If you are looking for a fast and easy way to revitalize your color. I suggest Clairol Nice n' Easy Root Touch-up. (Just look at my results)

A Great Shopping Day = FREE FOOD!

I had a fabulous day today.  Got up early and headed out with Strawberry Shortcake to do a little shopping.  I am on holidays this week and she insisted I get out and do something and not waste any more time I had left.  We started out walking, but due to the extreme heat today we gave in and hopped on a city bus.  This is not something I would normally do but my daughter takes the bus all over this city and knows the routes very well.  With a few coupons tucked in my purse we headed over to Walmart and then to No Frills.  I had three FPC (free product coupons) and a few BOBO coupons (buy one get one free or free with purchase of another product).

We did very well indeed. (wait for it)

Secret Outlast Clear Gel Deodorant Review

About a month ago I was offered a great opportunity from BzzAgent. A new campaign for Secret Outlast Clear Gel Deodorant.  I was very excited. I must admit my first thoughts were "ok, here we go again another deodorant that will be sticky, wet and just not practical at all" I usually do not buy gel deodorant because it just turns out to be a waste of money.  In the past I have chosen to stick with a solid and suffer the consequences of white mark residue on my clothing. It is far better than putting a sticky, sometimes slimy gel deodorant on that takes forever to dry.

Well, then I was introduced to Secret Outlast Clear Gel Deodorant. I was so impressed. It looks like a regular clear gel but it certainly not the same as other deodorants I have tried in the past. It goes on clear. It does not feel sticky at all and what impressed me the most is it dries super fast. No waving my arms in the air waiting and waiting to put on my clothes.

The first time I used Secret Outlast Clear Gel I was headed out to a party and was planning on wearing a brand new navy blue dress I had just purchased a few days before. After doing my hair and makeup I put on this new Secret Outlast Deodorant and went into my spare room to retrieve my new dress. Before I put it on I noticed there was white residue under the arm area on the dress. This is from me trying it on in the store a few days before. After cursing a few times. I got out a damp cloth and was able to successfully remove the white marks. I thought why the heck did I buy a dark navy blue dress. This is going to look awful if it happens again and I get up to dance tonight.  How embarrassing this will be. I walked into my bathroom and lifted up my arms. I didn't see any chalky residue so I proceeded to get dressed.

Later that night after we had completed our dinner I ran off to the bathroom to freshen up. I had a look under my arms fully expecting to see deodorant all over my new dress. Guess what? No residue. Not even a hint. No white marks, no sparkles, no sweat marks-Nothing!

I spent a wonderful evening with friends and danced up a storm. Never once did I feel worried about not being completely protected. My underarms felt dry. I had no odor and best of all no residue left on my new dress.

I got this product sample completely free from BzzAgent in exchange for giving my honest opinion on it. I would like to say thank you to both Secret and BzzAgent for giving me this opportunity.  I am delighted to have found a product that stand up to it's claims.  If you want a clear gel deodorant that gives you 48 hours of protection with no white marks and dries fast without the sticky mess then check out Secret Outlast Clear Gel Deodorant, you Gotta Try It!

Whats my secret to not "sweating" Sweat?- Secret Outlast Clear Gel Review

Greetings readers!

I have a quick new review to share with you today.

Earlier this month I received a bottle (is it really a bottle?) of Secret Outlast Clear Gel ( Oh la-la Lavender scent) for free from Bzagent to give my review. While I waited for the deodorant to arrive in the mail I read up on what it claims so I can make sure to look for those things when I start using it. Secret claims that Secret outlast clear gel is specially made with fast drying ingredients to evaporate in seconds, not cause white marks, stop odour before it starts, and that the pH of this secret product minimizes odour causing bacteria for long lasting 48 hour protection. The product arrived and I retrieved it from the mailbox after school and brought it inside with me. I planned to try it out right away but since it's Winter here in Canada that wouldn't have been very fun. So I simply opened the parcel and looked the product over, first thing I thought at first was it's a clear bottle and I can see there isn't much in there. Then realized that it's about the normal amount of all my other ones. After re-thinking about it I've decided this clear bottle idea is GREAT. Why? Because you can clearly see when your almost out of your clear gel and need to pick up some more. The dial on the bottom turns easily and you don't need to turn and turn and turn, usually just a slight turn brings up enough clear gel. The bottle isn't big or awkward either, and the cap fits well.

The next morning after my Secret Outlast Clear gel couldn't possibly be cold anymore I pushed my other deodorant aside and started my not exactly "secret" Secret outlast mission, and put it to the test. I turned the dial and put some on expecting it to feel wet and sticky like other gels I have tried in the past. It didn't even feel wet, I even double checked that I had actually put some on. I put it on and threw it in my backpack in case I needed to reapply as my friend and I were planning on going to the campus gym. Turns out I didn't really need to bring it along with me, this secret outlast clear gel stuff pretty strong. So far Secret clear gel has passed two tests, it didn't stay wet, and it's lasted. After school a group of friends decided we should go skating, I had a shower, put some clear gel on ( only because i figured it would have washed off in the shower) and thought lets test this "no white marks claim, I'm sure it's going to leave something on my black shirt" So I put my shirt on and looked, nothing. Maybe I just have gained ninja like skills over the years to avoid white marks? I took my shirt off and purposely rubbed it against my arm pit, again nothing. Okay Secret Outlast clear gel, you win!

The next two days I didn't reapply ( I was at home mostly anyways, in case i did stink) and secret actually  lasted for those days. Every claim I read played out true, I couldn't find anything bad to say and yet I've been against gel deodorants for years because of how wet and sticky they used to make me feel. Since I like it so much why should I keep Secret outlast clear gel a secret? I had to tell you all about it in case your like me who has tried a clear gel before and sworn them off after the cold, wet, sticky feeling of the first experience you had with gels. I totally recommend giving Secret Outlast Clear gel a try. What scent? I recommend Oh La-La Lavender. Go ahead let Secret Outlast be your secret weapon against sweat.
